How to have your account and personal data removed from an ISPCore installation.
Your data sits with your internet provider, not with us. ISPCore is software that providers install on their own servers. We do not hold subscriber records and cannot delete them on your behalf.
Deletion requests go to the provider whose app you installed.
Your provider must confirm who you are before deleting anything. That is a protection for you: otherwise anyone could close your service.
Some records cannot be deleted on request, because the law requires the provider to keep them:
| Record | Why it is kept | Typical period |
|---|---|---|
| Invoices and fiscal documents | Tax law requires retention of issued invoices | Several years, set by national tax rules |
| Connection logs | Telecom regulation requires providers to retain them | Set by national telecom law |
| Audit records of who accessed data | So that misuse can be investigated | Set by the provider's policy |
Once those periods expire, the records are removed. Everything not under such an obligation is deleted when you ask.
If you use ISPCORE Technician, your account belongs to your employer. Ask your manager or the system administrator to disable it. Audit logs of work you carried out are retained by the employer.
Write to info@isp-core.com with the name of your provider, and we will point you to the right contact. We cannot delete the data ourselves, but we can help you find who can.
