This policy explains what personal data is involved when you use ISPCore — the platform, the subscriber app, and the technician app — and who is responsible for it.
ISPCore is self-hosted software. In almost every case your internet provider runs its own ISPCore installation on its own servers. Your provider decides what data to collect and how long to keep it — they are the data controller. ISPCore is the software vendor.
This matters in practice: if you want your data corrected or deleted, your provider is who can do it. We cannot reach into an installation we do not operate.
ISPCore is sold as software that internet providers install and run themselves. When you use one of our mobile apps, it connects to your provider's own server — not to ours.
| Situation | Data controller | Our role |
|---|---|---|
| Your ISP runs its own ISPCore server | Your ISP | Software vendor only. We hold no subscriber data. |
| Your ISP uses our hosted panel at panel.isp-core.com | Your ISP | Processor acting on the ISP's instructions. |
| You contact us directly (email, WhatsApp, demo request) | Us | Controller for that correspondence. |
For customers of an ISP. When you sign in, the app sends your credentials to your provider's server and receives an access token. It then shows data that your provider already holds about your account:
If your provider offers in-app payment, card details are entered into and handled by the payment provider. Card numbers never pass through the app or the ISPCore server.
For field technicians employed by or contracted to an ISP. It is not for subscribers. A technician signs in with their work account and can see:
The app is read-only apart from ticket status and work notes. Every action a technician takes is logged on the provider's server with their name, the time and their IP address.
An ISPCore installation typically holds, on the provider's own servers:
Lawful interception records. ISPCore includes a module that lets a provider search NAT translation logs when a court or regulator formally requires it. Access is restricted by permission and every search is logged with who ran it and when. This exists because telecom law in most countries requires providers to be able to answer such requests.
Some things never leave your phone:
The apps contain no advertising, no analytics SDK and no third-party trackers.
Subscriber data is not sold, rented or used for advertising. A provider may share it with:
Retention is set by your provider and by the law that applies to them. As a general shape:
Ask your provider for the exact periods that apply to you.
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the data held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy in a portable format.
Send those requests to your internet provider. They hold the data and they are the only ones who can act on it. If they use our hosted panel and need technical help to comply, we assist them.
To delete your subscriber account and the personal data attached to it, contact your internet provider directly — by phone, in person at their office, or through a support ticket in the app.
Some records cannot be deleted immediately: invoices and fiscal documents must be retained for the period tax law specifies, and connection logs for the period telecom law specifies. Everything not under such an obligation is removed.
If you need help reaching your provider, write to info@isp-core.com and we will point you to the right contact. See also our account deletion page.
Neither app is directed at children. Internet subscriptions are contracts held by adults, and technician accounts are issued to employees. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe an account has been compromised, tell your provider immediately.
We update this policy when the apps change or the law does. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes are announced in the apps.
For questions about your own subscription data, contact your internet provider — they hold it.
